Webcomic update.

I’ve got new webcomics, I’ve dumped old webcomics. I feel that I must share the new ones with the world, and to inform people of which comics I no longer follow.

Attention, people of wordpress.

WordPress is confusing me. To all of you who have blogs or just know how all this internet coding works (basic HTML won’t cut it this time ;_;); I keep getting hits from sites supposedly referring to mine. Then I go check the site and find things like random blogs and phonebooks online. >.>

How does the referring stuff work?! I no understands. Do people get ‘referred’ if they just visit my site after another as I totally doubt that.

Read on for Iron Man spoilers! Iron Man is a pretty ok movie. The Indiana Jones trailer was even better. I think I cried a little. They were tears of joy.

New look, a work in progress.

As you can see I switched themes again… I finally found one that lets me show off the other pages without wrecking the type of layout I prefer in a blog. Ok, the sidebar’s a bit long, but not disturbingly so, right?

Now my only problem is getting that boring banner off. >.> Sad tree in mist just isn’t cutting it. This is a blog about random things, not sad trees in mist.

Edit: New banner up, no wolverine beating up Darth, Nyoron-tan instead. It’s only temporary, but too cute to resist.

My journey into true geekdom.

I’ve always been a geek, for as long as I can remember. Of course, when I was really young (it’s a scientific fact that all seven-year-old girls are attracted to pink.) I was geeky about more… girly and embarassing things. Barbies and popmusic. Thank god I grew out of that.

Back to the point at hand; despite my growing into an actual geek, there’s always been a few branches on the geek tree I missed.

Boredom + hunger

Leads, in my case, to food. In the form of me trying out recipes that is. Right now I’m waiting for my manjuu mixture to finish rising so I can be like Makoto. Auu~. I have a thing for cooking. It is a good thing. Especially because I always reserve the rights to eat most of whatever I cook up. My chocolate cookies are actually relatively famous in my family even though I always end up having more than half of them myself. (Less sugar, more cocoa powder is the trick.)

Off to see the wizard

Only not really of course. Just going on a trip for a week without internet access.

Which is funny as I’m not even leaving the country. o.0 Going to another province, although due to my ineptitude at geography I couldn’t tell you which one…

Tadaaa. Revel in my delightfully crooked photography. Coulda sworn I took pictures of the Bridge of Sighs and some other things too but can’t find them.

Feeeeeaaaar

Been a long time since I last posted, but instead of ranting about how awesome going to Venice was I’m going to rant about that sodding idiot called Geert Wilders. You know, the (really ugly) guy with the bad haircut who made that ‘film’ called Fitna because he’s ‘worried’ that muslims are going to take over the world.

One has no need for blogs when one’s head has been… Deleted.

Having a weblog is tough when you have nothing to talk about. Well ok having a weblog is never tough unless you start feeling like you owe your readers something. You’ll need readers for that first though, and readers tend to not read slow boring blogs so chances are that when you feel like you HAVE to give your readers something you’ve got plenty to write about anyway.

Running commentary on the CLANNAD movie.

Just for fun I wrote down notes while watching the TOEI Animation CLANNAD movie… Don’t read them unless you’ve played the game all the way through mmkay? Anyway, don’t watch the movie if you enjoyed the game and DEFINITELY not if you like the anime, it’ll spoil everything. And the next bit has a big amount of spoilers in it so beware. (No, I don’t think people will read this, of course not. :P)
