Seriously, it’s awesome. It’s very, very… Voicst. ^.^ I know that’s vague… But it sounds very like their general style, that’s what I mean. They’re recognisable. Far from generic and bloody talented. And come on, any song with ‘dododododooo’ in it randomly HAS to be awesome (De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da by The Police anyone?).
But basically the Voicst sound (to me at least) means slightly hyperactive, upbeat indie-rock, interesting and/or weird lyrics and a typical sound I can’t really explain.
I’d rant about the brilliance of their first album 11-11 but I’m WAY too hyper about the new one coming out somewhere at the end of this year/beginning of next year. The newest song shows that they’re still them, only with new ideas and still the same hyperness.
Oh and did I mention they’re just great musicians? They’re great musicians.
I can’t say any more than that at the moment, but as soon as they post a new song I’ll make sure to rant about that.
