Been busy and uninspired lately, so no time for blogging for me. Just a quick message here to express my emo anguish at NOT liking Mercury, Bloc Party’s new song. I can’t even say it’s slightly good what with me liking all their other songs. No, I actually consider this song to be… sucky. It’s dull, repetitive, the music is something any band on the planet playing in their parents’ garage could produce and the lyrics are… barely interesting.

Which is pretty much the opposite of my opinion on their other songs. I do like the trumpets in it… But that’s all. >.> So uhm… Disappointing for me I guess. Though I’ve got the new Futureheads album to drool over so I’m happy. ^^

Don’t expect much from me anytime soon so it’ll be a nice surprise when I do post?

Oh yeah, and Battles live was AWESOME. Best.thing.ever.

(Please ditch the support act guys, a band who thinks putting on the same computer-fabricated beat without anything else for 45 minutes straight is fun can’t be right in the head. Hell, hire me as the support act, I can do a better job with a demo of Magix Music Maker 1.)

My laptop is collapsing in on itself! I’ve suddenly lost all control of the maps on my desktop. ._. I was still able to put files in there YESTERDAY fgs… Now I can’t cause it says I need permission… ._.

To get this fixed I’ll have to change the ownership on every.single.map. I have… Possibly every submap too… ;_;

Screw you Microsoft, I’m getting a mac next time. I’m not giving you any more money to produce more of this non-functional crap, you hear me?!

I’m trying to get this sorted through Packard Bell now (there has to be an error SOMEWHERE.) since microsoft refuses to help you if you buy a pc with their product installed. Iamnotmakingthisup.

Really, I’m not. They downright said so several times.

And another thing. People who work on Vista: it may be a clever idea to assign ownership to the account making the file or map unless it is a guest in which case it would go to the main account or the administrator. Also I would like it if I could be assigned as the main administator since, y’know, I paid for this stuff. Monies. Lotsa monies.

Why the heck am I worried letting my mother use the laptop will break it if Windows is perfectly capable of doing that without help?

Wow, I hate microsoft. Not only did they apparently fuck things up so much that to install a font you need to put the original on your hard drive, but after that you apparently can’t delete it without messing with the security settings. And their customer service… The us version refers you to the country you’re in. In my case that’s the Netherlands… and microsoft service here costs money. So I used the online chat service from the US… Who promptly didn’t read what I said, gave me the impression that I knew what I was on about better than them, AND were pretty damn rude at times.

Yeah, the file got deleted. After I near-hacked into my own system. Very secure microsoft, you should put that in your new ad campaign: ‘So secure, the only one hacking into your system will be YOU.’ Add a nice Uncle Sam image to it for emphasis.

To all those desiring a good laugh, here’s the copy of the chat conversation. (D&D post LAT0R when I’m not stressing over acceptance exams for art school.)

D&D woo.

More on this tomorrow! :P

(Lazy? No. Just uninspired.)

I’ve been horrid at arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. Being clumsy and not having steady hands is pretty much the cause of that, and trust me, my grades at school showed it. My classmates at the time should consider themselves lucky they didn’t get beheaded due to me putting the blocks of wood on the wrong side of the sander. Those sideway spinny things have a lot of launching power apparently…

So while I got away without hideously maiming/killing/hurting anyone (myself included in most cases), everything turned out sucky nontheless. But I wasn’t me if I wasn’t bloody stubborn so I keep trying with new projects. To my amazement the latest one went really well. So behold! (That means there’s pictures included. :3)

The chainmail bag o’ dice.

Or at least, that’s what these guys say. I think I’d know if it was. ._.

Also that they’re referring to a post, not a blog. Looks like someone didn’t do their homework…

It just amused me really. I thought I did a good job in reviving this whole blog thing. :P

So after sharing that little tidbit of pointless trivia, I remind you once again that there will be an epic post about D&D on sunday. That’ll be all for now. :P

I’m not kidding you guys. ._. I should be taking this D&D thing a bit less serious probably, but with my social life being near-dead and after getting tests done that claim I’m ‘gifted’ I figured I should really get into this.

It’s no joke, I scored a 138 on an official IQ test with almost the same score in both types of intelligence so, despite my own belief, I’m teh smarts. According to another personality test I should be able to remember things real easily from just seeing them. Ok, so I know how to make chainmail from just reading an article online without doing it, but it’s still hard to believe.

Enough shadowed bragging, let’s talk about my quest to become a true scholar in the art of… sitting at a table and pretending to be legendary heroes on magic quests. Yeah, not going to pretend that’s cool, don’t worry.

I just HAVE to share, if you click this link you can listen to This Is Not The World by The Futureheads. The new album that’s out on the 26th of May. THE NEW ALBUM! I can’t stop smiling. Really.

Sure, you have to give MTV your emailadress and they’ll spam you. So worth it. IT IS THE FUTUREHEADS. I mean, seriously now. It’s filled with rythm, good music and clever lyrics.

The new songs are so good, a perfect mix of their first album and News & Tributes. Those two albums were really different so this is like, the golden road down the middle. I’ve never liked being me more than right now. ._.
Ok I’m hyper, and excited, and even more hyper as my pre-ordered copy of the cd will be here next week. So I’m totally biased. But really, give it a try. If these songs can’t put a smile on your face… Well, you’re beyond saving.

I’ve got new webcomics, I’ve dumped old webcomics. I feel that I must share the new ones with the world, and to inform people of which comics I no longer follow.

As usual, more after the break.

WordPress is confusing me. To all of you who have blogs or just know how all this internet coding works (basic HTML won’t cut it this time ;_;); I keep getting hits from sites supposedly referring to mine. Then I go check the site and find things like random blogs and phonebooks online. >.>

How does the referring stuff work?! I no understands. Do people get ‘referred’ if they just visit my site after another as I totally doubt that.

Read on for Iron Man spoilers! Iron Man is a pretty ok movie. The Indiana Jones trailer was even better. I think I cried a little. They were tears of joy.
